I am the Head of Business Standards at the Security Industry Authority (SIA). My team manages the assessment and quality assurance element of the Approved Contractor Scheme. I am also about to embark on an exciting new strategy to shape business standards for the ACS and the private security industry.
I have a wealth of experience in the educational arena having quality assured programmes delivered in the UK and overseas in security. A qualified teacher she has spent over 15 years teaching across programmes in law, security, criminology, and public services. Historically I was a special constable for Humberside Police for 6 years and I currently volunteer at a local prison as a member of their Independent Monitoring Board.
