I am a security professional specialising in protective security compliance across the defence, nuclear and civil sectors. I have recently accepted a new role as a Divisional Security Controller at Mott Macdonald, where I will support the secure delivery of complex government and infrastructure projects.
My background in counter-terrorism and security governance allows me to bridge strategic and operational perspectives, from developing policy assurance and insider risk frameworks to embedding Secure by Design principles across multidisciplinary teams. I am particularly interested in strengthening organisational resilience through proportionate risk management, effective collaboration and continuous professional development.
Earlier in the year in 2025, I was honoured to receive the Security Institute Ruth Henig Scholarship, which reinforced my commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. I am now working towards becoming a Chartered Security Professional by the end of 2026 and I hope to grow my network within the Security Institute community to learn from those who are already Chartered and to gain insight that supports me along that journey.
I have always had a deep interest in politics, international relations and how global security dynamics shape the world around us. I enjoy connecting with others in the profession, sharing ideas and learning from different approaches across the industry.
