Dr Peter Speight CSyP DBA MSc MPhil MIRM is a Chartered Security Professional, author and security risk management specialist with more than 30 years’ experience advising global organisations on resilience, enterprise risk, and integrated security strategies. A former Group Security Director, Head of Consultancy and award-winning practitioner, he has designed and delivered risk-based security programmes across multiple sectors and has published extensively, including the books Why Security Fails and Security Reimagined. Peter is also committed to mentoring and developing future professionals, contributing to academic research, lecturing, and thought leadership to advance best practice across the security profession.
