40 years ago Thomas A Jenkins started work as a “Barrow Boy” at Leadenhall Market in our capital.
After a short while in the city, Tom then went on to become an apprentice locksmith in Bromley, Kent. And then progressed to become a fully trained Master Locksmith servicing London and further afield.
Bringing that forward to 2021 “Tom” has driven security specification, and project management throughout the UK to a level of the highest credibility working from our Royal Household to the British Security Services, the Cabinet Office, and on public enquiries.
During his career Tom has been a speaker & trainer for governmental and security service department such as the Centre for the protection of National Infrastructure. (CPNI), The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO), and Secured by Design (SBD) Providing training for Counter Terrorism Security Advisors, and Designing out Crime Officers (CTSA’s & DOCO’s) nationally with written guides on standards and specifications. Tom has also provided training to the Military Police (MP) and the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC)
As a fully qualified Master Locksmith (MBLI), and an Architectural Ironmongery Diploma holder (DiPGAI MinstAI), these two industry qualifications coupled with over 39 years of experience shared between ASSA ABLOY, Bramah Security, and distribution Tom has now launched ATAJ Secure Limited to celebrate his 40th year in the industry.
Tom can now continue to focus on providing a dedicated, trustworthy, and personal approach to businesses, architects, design teams, & end users with security consultancy, training, and specifications verses operational requirements that need a specialist approach.
